  3. Flemish Sky Hosta • 10-12” tall, 20” wide • Blue-gret wavy rippled pointed leaves. • Blooms poke out through the leaves like a Florists’ arrangement • Blooms attract hummingbirds! • Slug resistant.

  4. Ginko Craig Hosta • 6” tall, 12” wide • Narrow grass green leaves with crisp white margins. • Vigorous. A good plant for ground cover, edging, accent plantings & containers. • Adjacent plants mesh, leaving no room or light for weeds

  5. Blue Angel Hosta • 32" high, 70" wide • Holds blue green color very well on huge leaves. • Very large mound • White flowers mid- summer • Excellent slug resistance.

  6. Sum & Substance Hosta • 36” tall, 72” wide • Chartreuse foliage is corrugated and cupped. • Can be enormous (9’ wide at maturity). • Slug resistant. • Sun tolerant.

Petasites Giganteum Giant Japanese Butterbur • Up to 5 feet high with 3-foot-wide leaves resembling rhubarb. • Sun to part shade. • Moist to wet soil but will grow in an average garden. • The flowers emerge before the leaves — think hyacinths but mutant ones with greenish blooms on naked stems. • A bold, textural plant, it needs lots of room for best foliage effect. • Place carefully: can spread quickly in moist locations and is difficult to control once it spreads. Can be grown in large pots or in less moist areas to restrict growth, or spreading can be controlled by sinking a heavy plastic or metal tub into the ground and placing the plant within.
