SmartTrap™ is a remote sensing and data management system using LoRAWan IoT network.
Each SmartTrap™ is a single node that attaches to any existing field unit currently in use in the conservation industry. Data can be represented in many different ways but at present we are displaying real-time events on a ArcGIS online map for both desktop and mobile.

When a trap is sprung, a signal is sent to a base station (LoRa gateway) using the radio network, then uploaded to the internet.
Field workers and project managers are also getting instantaneous alerts on their mobile phones and via email when an event relating to them occurs.
