  2. Thursday, May 24, 2018 • Arrive at the school at 9:00 PM to meet with your chaperones, eat pizza (provided) and make signs for the TODAY SHOW. • Buses will arrive at 10:30pm • Depart the school at 11pm • Travel through the night making only one stop for bathrooms and driver change

  3. Friday, May 25 • Upon arrival into the city we will go to Rockefeller Center for the TODAY SHOW. We’ll have great signs and hopefully you’ll see us on TV! • There are places to purchase breakfast (café or fast food style) Breakfast is NOT included in package price

  4. • After the show and breakfast students will enjoy a guided walk through Central Park taking in all the sites! • The coaches will pick us up and take us for lunch which is not included in the package. • When we are done with lunch we will board the coaches to head to our hotel.

  6. After our check-in and some much needed showers(!) we will board our coaches and head to Times Square. Dinner at Dallas BBQ (Meal is Included) After dinner we will head to the famous Gershwin Theater for our Broadway Showing of Wicked!

Saturday, May 26 • Breakfast at the hotel (Included) • Load coaches and head to the Castle Clinton Plaza for Polyphonix’s performance • When the performances are done, we will head over to Ground Zero where we will view the 9-11 Memorial Pools and St. Pauls Church • Lunch will follow at the Amish Market. (not included)

  8. • When we finish lunch we will head to Times Square for our Matinee performance of the musical Anastasia! • When the show is over we will board our coaches for Yankee Stadium where we will watch the Yankees take on the Angels. Students will be given $15 to purchase dinner in the park.

  9. Upon completion of the baseball game we will head back to the hotel where we will meet our security guards and the chaperones will prepare students for what Sunday will look like! Sunday May 27, 2018 Coaches will transfer all students in their chaperone groups to the 42 nd Street Subway Station where they will begin their small group tours of NY City! Each person will be given $15 for admission or a meal on their tour. Some groups will be going to museums, others will be going to do a food tour of New York’s Best food eateries.

  10. Chaperoned groups will meet at the Broadway Comedy Club (318 West 53 rd Street) where they will be part of a competitive team comedy for all ages. Comedy is family friendly! After the show we will head to our group dinner at Buca d’ Beppo (Included). When we finish dinner we will head back to our Hotel where we will play board games and enjoy an early night!

  11. Monday May 28 th 2018 Today we will eat breakfast at the hotel (included) and check out of the hotel. We will depart as a group for Chamber’s performance at Brooklyn’s Green Wood Cemetery for Leonard Bernstein’s family Memorial Day Annual Benefit by the InterSchool Orchestra of NY. Our Chamber will be joining this world famous Orchestra as we pay tribute to the 100 th Birthday celebration for this great composer!

  12. During the Memorial Day Concert Festivities all of the students will receive a boxed lunch from Au Bon Pain. When the concert festivities are completed we will load our coaches and head to Macy’s where students will be given $20 to eat dinner at the food court.

  13. When we finish dinner we will proceed as a Group for our group tour of the Empire State Building. After the tour we will head to Times Square for some last minute shopping before we begin our ride home!

  14. Tuesday May 28 th , 2018 • We will arrive back at Grassfield High School around 6am. Students will call their parents to let them know when we are 30 minutes away. Please plan to pick your child up and take them home so they can sleep. They are excused from school on Tuesday.

  15. WHAT DO WE NEED TO PACK?? Chamber Kids - Concert attire including shoes, socks etc. in a hang up bag packed separately from other clothes -Instrument, music and folding music stand

  16. Everyone Needs to Pack: -Broadway Show appropriate clothes -Comfortable walking shoes (Super Important!) -Rain Coat/Jacket -Orchestra Shirt -Jeans, shorts, t-shirts, etc - PJ’s -Necessary Toiletries/makeup/deoderant!! -Snacks -Sunscreen -Camera

  17. SPENDING MONEY - We will go shopping, bring souvenir money - 3 meals are not provided. Budget $10 - $15 per meal. -My suggestion is a minimum of $100-$150 in spending money.
