has been renovated and modernised but retains its character

 Three rooms – bunk beds 6 in each room  One large room - 18 beds  Teacher rooms are next to pupil accommodation

 Parents/carers will be notified by text when the

children have arrived at the Govilon Activity Centre

 Parents/carers will be notified by text of the

estimated time of arrival when returning to school

 Staff will provide school with regular updates

during the residential visit

 No photographs will be taken other than a group

photograph for display purposes

 Medical forms will be sent out soon. These must

be completed fully and must be handed in by the specified date

 Tetanus information – this can be obtained from

your doctor’s surgery. It is vital that this is filled in when you hand in the medical form.

If any medicine is to administered to your child during the residential visit, a medicine a form should be filled in nearer the time of the visit with all information including correct name of medicine and clear dosage. A separate form should be filled in for every medicine

  • taken. This includes travel sickness tablets and creams.

All medicines should be named on the medicine itself and on the box containing the medicine.

 I really enjoyed making fire using hay, charcloth,

flint and steel. It was fantastic! (Jessica)

 The food was lovely – especially the leek and

potato soup. Overall the food was amazing. (Gracie)
