Graduated Response File

The Graduated Response File has been developed to help schools to implement the Derby City SEND Support Provision Framework (Graduated Response Guidance for Schools). The Graduated Response File will contain evidence that schools/ settings have followed a graduated approach. When children transition from one setting to the next a consistent approach to storing information will help to make the sharing of information between settings easier.

Graduated Response File

The structure of the file and supporting documents highlight the importance of the assess, plan, do and review cycle. The GR File also provides a framework for the involvement of parents and supports a focus on person centred planning and reviews. All the information schools need is on the Schools Information Portal (SIP).
