The GNSO’s SIN working week

Accomplishments

1. Adoption of recommendations on Inter-Registrar transfers (IRTP-B) and initiation of a PDP on IRTP Part C 2. Adoption of new text to handle proxy voting in the GNS O Council’s Operating Procedures. 3. Discussions on a possible review to the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy UDRP – issue report recommends no PDP be initiated. 4. Ongoing discussions on prioritization and best use of volunteer and staff resources.

• GNSO Improvements:

– One of t he 2 GNS

O improvement st eering commit t ees (Policy Process S t eering Commit t ee) now closed. Final Report on t he new GNS O PDP submit t ed for Council considerat ion

– S

t anding Commit t ee t o t rack implement at ion of t he GNS O improvement s has st art ed it s work (group plans F2F at every ICANN meet ing).

– Rules on Proxy procedures approved by Council,

meaning t hat rest ruct ured GNS O Council Operat ing Procedures are more or less complet e.
