ENGAGED WITH ASIA TELEMEDICINE PROGRAM: THE BACKGROUND (1)

Our first aproach with TEMDEC was the participation of Dr. Miguel A. Tanimoto, gastroenterology specialist of National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán in the event TIP Techs in Paradise 2013. His conference was about the "Current situation for endoscopic diagnosis of early gastrointestinal neoplasia in Mexico."

The Next activities during 2013 were:

  • After the success at endoscopic conference, we had a Meeting in Mexico City

with Dr. Zhimizu, and TEMDEC and APAN staff team.

  • We talked about next collaboration plans and Dr. Shimizu gave to us a

DVTS Package.

  • More and more test sessions of DVTS, Quallmage/Quatre

with the support of TEMDEC.

  • Continuity to the technical activities with Civil Hospital of

Guadalajara

  • To start DVTS activities in the National Instiute of Medical

Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubiran (INCMNSZ)

  • Coordinate signing of the Memorandum of Understanding

(MoU) with Kyushu University and CUDI for the application for the license to use multipoint control unit (MCU) system software for digital video transport system (DVTS).

  • To promote video data transmissions between medical
  • rganizations
  • Support and collaboration for Mexican Association of

Gastroenterology to make possible a “live surgery” during the simposium “National gastroenterolgy week”, next november 2014.
