Our Work in This Watershed

An investment of $51, 000 was made in 2016 to identify species and habitats for future conservation and restoration in the Wahleach Watershed. Seven at-risk wetland and riparian species, plus mammals, bats, and birds were the focus of this work to help improve understanding of biodiversity in this watershed.

Action Table

  • 1. A grant-seekers “go

to” place for details

  • n actions for

possible FWCP grant

  • 2. The most important

part of the document

  • 3. But before diving in,

a few terms:

  • Action types
  • Priority rankings

Action Types

slide-28
SLIDE 28

Priority Rankings

Priority Urgency Benefit Timing 1 Urgent due to current/imminent threats Significant benefits relative to costs Required before subsequent actions 2 Likely current/imminent threats Requires more info to determine cost-benefit After Priority 1 actions 3 Possible threats Requires more info to determine cost-benefit After Priority 1 and 2 actions
