Fort Bend Seniors is committed to helping seniors
remain independent by enhancing their quality of life through services and resources.
Vision Statement: Fort Bend Seniors will assist
each senior citizen to achieve their independence.
Organized in 1974, Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels
(FBS)
By 1976, the program became a non-profit 1981, Fort Bend Seniors joined the United Way of Texas
Gulf Coast and was able to leverage additional dollars.
1990 – Took over the management of the senior program in
Waller County at the request of the Houston-Galveston Area Council Area Agency on Aging and United Way
Fort Bend Seniors is the only organization that provides
Meals on Wheels to all persons over 60 years of age regardless of income.
As We Successfully Celebrate 40 years Serving seniors in Waller and Fort Bend County 10 senior congregate sites 2 major distribution sites – home delivered meals
with several drop off sites
Meals 7 days per week to homebound clients
Emergency Shelf Stable Meals - twice per year – 5 meals each

Each of these programs and services enable area seniors to remain in their homes and continue to be an integral part of the community for as long as possible.
Senior Center – 60 years of age In-Home Services- 60 years of age and

Income is not a factor.
