provided the Flight Attendants maximum duty period and eligibility for

  • Flight Attendants will not be required to remain at an airport

location (e.g. FBO, MX Facility or Commercial Terminal) for more than 6 hours without a specific work assignment.

  • After 5 hours has elapsed, Flight Attendants can contact the

Company and request a hotel be booked.

  • One hour later (after 6 total hours have elapsed) the Flight

Attendant can contact the Company and request a release to the hotel.

  • If the Company requires the Flight Attendant to stay on duty at

the hotel, FA will accrue hourly overtime from the time the hotel request was made until the FA is turned off.

Reserve Duty at Hotel 28.5(C) A Flight Attendant on reserve duty at the hotel will be available for transportation as soon as possible but not more than 30 minutes after being contacted by the company. Commercial Airline Travel Duty 28.5(D)1 Commercial airline travel duty will begin at least 1 hour prior to but not more than 2 hours before airline departure, unless, a longer time is required by a government agency or airline. For purposes of determining total actual duty period when airline travel is the last assignment of the day, duty ends at the later of scheduled or actual arrival time.

RENTAL CAR TRAVEL DUTY 28.5(D)(3)

  • When rental car travel duty is the first assignment of the day duty will

begin 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

  • A Flight Attendant may decline a rental car if the journey is in excess of

150 miles or for any bona fide safety related reason including lack of familiarity with the intended route.
