All of your current information has been transferred into this system. During open enrollment, you can make a decision to support LEEF through a payroll contribution. Just elect the amount you want to contribute every paycheck to LEEF and deductions will begin in January. Your tax-deductible contribution can be $1 or more per pay period. You can change this amount at any time. Please consider joining your colleagues enrolled in the Employee Giving Program and directly impact your district. As little as $2 per month from every Leander ISD staff member would provide $120,000 in support to our classrooms and students! LEEF supports its mission through three main program initiatives:

  • Foundations for Learning focusing on early literacy.
  • Enriching Great Teaching through innovative teaching grants

and professional development, and College Ready.

  • College Bound to build a college and career-ready culture

among all students.

Health Savings Account (HSA) participation gives you access to a personal savings account. You and LISD can make pretax contributions into your HSA. The funds in your HSA are yours to spend on your medical care as you see fit, to help cover the cost of expenses incurred that your medical plan does not cover, such as deductibles and co-pays. CDHP 1400 and CDHP 2800 are eligible plans.

Health Savings Account

A Flexible Spending Account allows you to save money by paying out-of-pocket health and/or dependent care related expenses with pre-tax dollars. Your contributions are deducted from your pay before taxes are withheld and your account is front loaded with an annual amount. Because you are taxed on a lower amount of pay, you pay less in taxes and you have more to spend.
