PROJECT AND FACTORY MOVES

Special transport assignments Out of gage cargo high and heavy loads from all parts of Eastern Europe account for a signifi cant part of ICT Logistics A/S’ business. In many cases, we enter into projects at an early stage. For exam- ple, we can help clients deal with the various authorities around the world and plan routes to ensure that our clients get the very best of

  • ur transport and logistics solutions.

Factory moves When moving entire factory setups to various destinations in East- ern Europe, for instance, we can take full responsibility for the entire operation from factory foundation to factory foundation , including customs procedures, crane and skidding operations, permits, trans shipments and storage. References: Project to relocate Knauf GmbH from Germany to Novomoskovsk in Russia. The entire project comprised 140 loads, which had to be moved within 90 days. Project to relocate an entire factory facility for N.P . Utzon A/S in Fredericia, Denmark, Hampidjan, Iceland and Randers Reb A/S to Siauliai and Alytus, respectively, in Lithuania. Project to relocate Grundfos production line from Denmark to Ser- bia. All the above examples were completed on time and within budget.

RAIL TRANSPORT

With many years of extensive experience, ICT Logistics A/S is fully familiar with all issues associated with rail transport involving both railway wagons and containers to all parts of Russia and CIS. We can

  • rganise transport including block trains or one or two individual

wagons per receiver. The location of the goods can be tracked daily by satellite all the way to the destination. We work with closed railway wagons with a capacity of 30–60 tons per wagon for conventional goods, and with special wagons or

  • pen carriages for outsize loads.

Our logistics experience has been built up from working with a great many transport assignments over a period of many years. Our skills and experience provide us with exceptional insight into possi- ble routes, problem issues concerning transit, and other conditions that typically need to be taken into account.

ENERGY

The energy sector in Eastern Europe has undergone major changes in recent years – and this development looks set to continue. ICT Logistics A/S therefore provides special solutions targeted at precisely this sector. The energy industry often needs special transport and logistics solu- tions when renovating heating pipelines or installing new heating systems, for example. It demands great fl exibility and capacity to move large volumes during a relatively short period. In the countries of Eastern Europe in particular, awareness is grow- ing of the potential benefi ts of wind energy, and this has resulted in appreciable demand for transport and logistics solutions for the wind turbine industry. To this end, we have established a team of staff who have years of experience in working with transport solutions for the wind turbine

  • industry. Moreover, we have a number of units that are specially

designed for transporting outsize loads.

BOX UNITS

ICT Logistics A/S provides solutions for transporting hanging gar- ments to and from the Baltic States, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Hun- gary, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria. This need arose in the textile industry with regard to Eastern Eu- rope in the 1980s, and ICT trained employees have been involved in this process from the very start. As a result, we are fully familiar with the conditions and the challenges that can arise in connection with transporting textiles. We use only our own, specially constructed garment trailers, which ensure precise transport direct from the factory to the customer’s address.
