Drawing on the expertise of senior academics and experts, University of Athens offers e-learning programmes in a variety of fields. Over the last 16 years, the E-Learning Programme of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has trained more than 45.000 people in Greek language.

The LMS Moodle supports the learning process. Moodle is a widely used learning platform designed to provide edu- cators, administrators and learners with a single robust and secure system that creates a personalised learning environment. The educational material for each program is being grad- ually disposed, per teaching unit, through the electronic classrooms. During the programme, full personal educational support is provided as the trainee can address any questions to his appointed tutor through an online communication

system. Courses with community educational support are

also available offering an engaging learning environment.
