Evacuation of endangered and injured persons in emergency situations is a measure of civil protection.

THE EVACUATION OBJECTIVE is the protection and rescue of people, animals and material goods from the dangers caused by disasters

Evacuation of endangered and injured persons is carried out in the case of

EVACUATON IS PLANNED AND ORGANIZED RELOCATION OF PEOPLE, ANIMALS AND PROPERTY FROM ENDANGERED TO LESS ENDAGERED OR NON- ENDANGERED TERRITORY EVACUATION IS PLANNED, PREPARED AND REALIZED BY BODIES OF UNITS OF SELF-GOVERNMENT EVACUATION IS ORDERED BY LOCAL HEADQUATERS FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS EVACUATION FROM AREA OF ONE LOCAL SELF- GOVERNMENT TO AREA OF THE OTHER LOCAL SELF- GOVERNMENT IS ORDERED BY REPULIC HEADQUARTES FOR EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

DEPENDING ON DEGREE OF RISK AND POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES, EVACUATION CAN BE PARTITIAL AND COMPLETE THE PRIORITY IN EVACUATION HAVE:

• MOTHERS WITH CHILDREN YOUNGER THEN 15 YEARS, OR

OTHER PEOPLE WHO TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN YOUNGER THEN 15 YEARS;

• PREGNANT WOMEN;
• SICK OR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS AND OTHERS;
• INDIVIDUALS YOUNGER THEN 16 OR OLDER THEN 65 FOR MEN

OR 60 FOR WOMEN.

IF THE HAZARD INTENSITY OVERCOMES THE ABBILITIES AND CAPACITIES OF A LOCAL SELF- GOVERNMENT UNIT OR IF AN EMERGENCY SITUATION IS DECLARED ON THE TERRITORY OF MULTIPLE LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENTS, THE EVACUATION BECOMES COMPETENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA.

IN THE ORGANIZATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF EVACUATION ARE INVOLVED:

Firefighting and rescue units Headquarter for emergency situations Police Units for civil protection The Red Cross of Serbia Humanitarian organizations and associations Entities of special importance for protection and rescue The competent department of the local self-government unit Counselors and deputies of civil protection Citizens Companies and other legal entities

UNITS OF CIVIL PROTECTION They are educated, equipped and trained as

• perational force to execute

measures of civil protection There are units of general purpose and specialized civil protection units General purpose units of civil protection are formed by units of local self-government, while specialized civil protection units are formed by the Ministry of Interior

SPECIALIZED UNITS OF CIVIL PROTECTION They are committed to execution of the most complex tasks of civil protection

Equipped with appropriate technical equipment that is necessary for personal protection and for implementation and execution of civil protection tasks

Members of specialized units for civil protection are trained through different types of training

ACTIVITIES OF SPECIALIZED UNITS FOR CIVIL PROTECTION ON WATER AND UNDER WATER

During the floods in 2014, the Unit was engaged in Obrenovac, Čačak, and 2016 in Kraljevo - village Grdica
