  8. Youth are Using Flavored Products • 82.3% of Santa Clara County high school students who use tobacco products currently use a flavored product. Youth believe that flavored products • are safer and less addictive than non- flavored varieties. More than 15,000 flavors are currently on the market. More than 1 in 5 stores in Santa Clara • County that sell tobacco are located within 1,000 feet of a school , and 80% of those stores sell flavored tobacco products .
