  31. Sustainable  A 5.8kW system provides ~1% of the energy used by one of Rochester’s high schools.  MNSEP’s goal: promote awareness by making alternative energy seem tangible for students.

  33. Self-Sustaining  Alternative energy is sustainable.  But a message about that alternative energy is not self-sustaining.  The product of MNSEP’s project was not the panels it built but rather the people it engaged.
