In the first phase of the simulation, each institution will produce its own report as a basis for negotiation. An interinstitutional exchange will then take place, before a common report is voted upon by the European Parliament plenary at the end of the exercise. In partnership with

  21. In this area you will find a range of materials meant to help you get ready for the simulation in May. More particularly you will find: 1. A set of background materials on the simulation itself as they become available; 2. The recording of live webinars once they have taken place; 3. A set of generic materials on the EU, its structure and the overall political strategies recently spelled out by its main institutions; 4. A set of readings from various sources sorted in 11 files for the 11 priorities meant to help you understand the various EU policies relevant to the simulation. 5. A few Quiz to test your knowledge on the simulation materials! In partnership with

  22. Please note that due to the novel topic of the simulation, the list of relevant EU policies is quite long. Therefore, you will see the number of available readings is also quite high. We do not expect you to read everything; the idea is that you get basic information on every policy and go a bit deeper into the topic if you are strongly interested. We suggest that you look for talking points which you can use in a debate. Similarly, we have tried to balance the level of technicity of the readings provided, especially in the economic field. One useful tip : if you open a very long report and want a broad idea of what it says, go straight the executive summary! In partnership with

  23. Please also remember that you always need to try and remember who is the source of the document. Some documents have a great explanatory value, providing structure and data, while some others will have solid analytical insight. In partnership with
