The City and County of Denver is building a new storm drain system in the Bonnie Brae neighborhood. Denver’s 2014 Storm Drainage Master Plan identified the need at this location due to the significant amount of storm water that flows on neighborhood streets.

The W The Work

  • Start in July or August of 2019
  • 6-7 months of construction
  • Work will start at E. Exposition Avenue and move south
  • Permitted construction hours

– Monday - Friday 7:00 am – 9:00 pm – Saturday 8:00 – 5:00 (Saturday work will be infrequent)

  • Work will extend from sidewalk to sidewalk
  • Through traffic and parking will be limited in the

immediate construction area

  • Sidewalks will remain open
