The Plant is operating over ten years in the market producing and supplying the seamless cold-rolled tubes (including capillary tubes, thin-walled and extremely thin-walled tubes) of stainless steel, scale-resistant and heat-resistant steel and alloys, Ti and Ti-based alloys, refractory metals and its alloys (molybdenum, tungsten, niobium, tantalum, etc) as well as nonferrous metals. Over this time, DSTP has acquired a reputation of reliable, dynamically developing producer, which makes good use of its scientific and production potential, highly skilled personnel. DSTP activities are based on a customer-oriented approach. The Plant main features are flexible pricing policy, optimum delivery times, high-quality products and up-to-date logistics. Dzerzhinsky Metallurgical Integrated Works PJSC and other Ukrainian companies, as well as companies from Russian Federation, India, USA, Israel, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Baltic States, etc. Dneprovsky Special Tubes Plant LLC was built in 2003. The plant with its modern technologies produces about 200.000 meters of tubes in a diameter range from 0.23 up to 159.0 mm and wall thickness from 0.07 up to 8.0 mm; seamless elbows (R med ≤1 OD) in a diameter range from 18.0 up to 95.0 mm meeting strict requirements of special specifications as per № TU U 24.2-33338597-006:2012; deep drilling of holes with diameter range from 27.0 up to 140.0 mm in cylindrical products with length from 400.0 up to 4000.0 mm and outside diameter from 50.0 up to 200.0 mm. Quality Management System certified according to the State Standard of Ukraine ISO 9001:2009 (certificate No. UA 2.006.07973-13) was adopted at the enterprise. The special acceptance and independent technical inspection the TP No. 23 (Aviatekh- priyomka) is used at the Plant. Certified laboratory for mechanical, metallographic and corrosion tests is operating at the Plant (Certificate No. 3813-19VL). In 2007, the Plant has mastered the technology of tubes production of refractory metals and its alloys (molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum, niobium, etc.). Until now, this technology remains to be a unique one at the CIS countries.

World economy displays upward trend towards increasing the share of high-tech and research intensive works. Today competitive power of a particular enterprise and even economic sector on the whole has direct relation to the use of brand new raw materials in production known as «coming materials». This group is generally deemed to include tubes of refractory metals (TRM) production such as molybdenum, niobium, tungsten, tantalum, etc. Aerospace engineering, aircraft, nuclear power engineering, instrumentation technology, mechanical engineering, electronic and electrical engineering, medicine...none
- f these industries today can do without use of tubes of refractory metals. They have no
alternative as engineering materials in production of parts and assemblies for special-purpose machinery intended to operate in aggressive environments and temperatures (1000 °C - 1400 °C). Dneprovsky Special Tubes Plant Ltd (DSTP) is the only one in Ukraine and CIS countries specializing in production and supplying of tubes of refractory metals. Jointly with leading scientists in this branch and basing on in-house production facilities, the company has
- rganized high-tech and research-intensive production of tubes of refractory metals. The
Plant has all required specifications and technological documentation for all product types. Our Plant has developed the new Technical Requirements for tubes of refractory metals - TU U 24.4-33338597-005:2012 «Seamless small-size and thin-walled tubes of niobium and molybdenum alloys» and TU U 24 .4-33338597-007:2015 «Tubes with improved purity of material and improved accuracy of tantalum and niobium». The tubes are only produced of certified materials. Special-purpose precision equipment, vacuum heat treatment facilities, advanced chemical treatment and finished goods finishing technologies are used in producing the products. Certified Quality Management System was adopted at the Plant. DSTP owns full technological complex, which is necessary for producing TRM. The Company produces commodity quality goods requiring no additional treatment. High accuracy technologies enable DSTP to produce thin-walled and extremely thin- walled tubes and capillary tubes of refractory metals and its alloys (molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum, niobium, etc). The plant produces the tubes of refractory metals in a diameter range from 0.7 up to 48.0 mm and wall thickness from 0.07 mm up to 2.0 mm. Market research carried out by the specialists of DSTP revealed that refractory goods market is nowadays fast-moving. Rapid development of robot technique and instrumentation, electronics, motor vehicle manufacturing, chemical and petrochemical industries, aerospace industries, application of new technologies evoke the demand for tubular goods of this segment.

- centerless grinding machines of VSh-400 and VSh-500 models;
- electro-contact resistance heating furnaces (max 1250 °С);
- vacuum heating furnaces (max 1450 °С);
- through-type heating furnaces (max. 900 °С and max. 1180 °С);
- pit furnaces for heating in argon atmosphere (max. 1070 °С and max. 1200 °С), etc.
Machine workshop:
- machining area: screw-cutting lathes, milling machines, planer
, coordinate milling machines, grinding machines, drilling machines;
- deep boring area: drilling-and-boring machines (model RТ 601.24 and model RT 604).

Transport and logistics Finished products are shipped from an outdoor storage and the storage rooms at the Plant's territory. Deliveries are made by customer’s or forwarding company’s motor transport means. The enterprise is accredited in the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Customs Office (№ UA 10033338597). Source of raw materials Tubular products are manufactured using certified materials supplied by major manufacturers in CIS and EU countries.

Dneprovsky special tubes plant LLC has mastered deep drilling and hole boring technology at the special drilling and boring machines model RT 601.24 and model RТ 604 produced by Ryazanskiy Machine Tool Plant:
- 1. Model RT 601.24 (РТ601.24):
- drilling of holes with diameter from 27 up to 90 mm is made by rotating tool and product
with outside diameter from 50 up to 200 mm and length from 400 up to 1500 mm.
- boring of holes with diameter from 40 up to 140 mm is made by fixed tool and length from
400 up to 1500 mm.
- drilling of holes with diameter from 11up to 26 mm is made with straightway drill with
rotating tool and product with outside diameter from 50 up to 200 mm and length from 400 up to 1500 mm.
- 2. Model RТ 604 (РТ604):
- drilling of holes with diameter from 27 up to 90 mm is made by rotating tool and product
with outside diameter from 50 up to 360 mm and length from 600 up to 4000 mm.
- boring of holes with diameter from 100 up to 400 mm is made by fixed tool and length
from 600 up to 4000 mm.

Production of round rods with the special surface finishing
Dneprovsky Special Tubes Plant LLC has mastered the production of the precision round rods with the special technology of the surface finishing. The round rods are produced of stainless steel, heat resistant and scale resistant steels and alloys, Ti and Ti-based alloys, as well as refractory metals and alloys. The range of the products: The round rods in a diameter range from 2.0 mm up to 32.0 mm with the special surface finishing (Ra 0.32 micrometers) with the maximum cut length of 5 meters or normal length, with the surface parameters - group “A” – “B” according to GOST 14955, with the dimensions and the limit deviations according to the requirements of GOST 14955 of the quality class h 9. The round rod material:
- stainless steel, precision steel and alloys, heat-resistant and scale-resistant steels and
alloys of the grades according to GOST 5632 and GOST 10994;
- Ti and its alloys of the grades according to GOST 19807, OST 1 90013, TU 1-5-132;
- refractory metals - molybdenum and its alloys of the grades according to TU 48-19-250.
The round rods are produced only of the certified material with the method of cold or warm forging at the radial forging machine with following drawing calibration on the linear mills or/and on the rotary benches, with the grinding and the polishing of the outside surface, with the heat treatment in protective and inert atmosphere, with the nondestructive testing according to the standards or the technical agreements. The round rods can be produced according to the agreed technical requirements which make the requirements of the GOST and TU more tough. Also, the plant has the opportunity to develop the special technical requirements.
