Members of the Delano Plan Advisory Committee, staff and others attending these meetings agree to honor the following tenets as we work together in providing guidance and recommendation on the future of Delano:

  • We will communicate with respect and courtesy in all our interactions, even at those times

in which we may disagree.

  • We will listen to what others have to say without interruption and premature judgment.
  • We will welcome and respect different perspectives and opinions.
  • We are each prepared to dialogue with others, find common ground or consensus, and

accept group voting if necessary, to develop recommendations and feedback for the City’s consideration.

  • We will give our time, talents and resources to support the work of the Delano Plan

Advisory Committee as much as possible within our means and abilities.

  • Meetings will start and stop at the designated time in order to respect the other obligations
  • f all committee members and staff.
