Kingswood is one of the most experienced providers

• f outdoor education in the UK. They were founded
• ver 30 years ago and run over 1.2 million activity

sessions each year. They now welcome over 165,000 young people from more than 75 countries around the world annually.

• Arrive at school usual time
• Leave bags and cases in Mona Hall
• Medication and spending money given to staff

in Mona Hall

• Children register as usual in classes
• Coaches to leave Westways by 10am

Return on Wednesday 25th March

• Leave Kingswood after lunch about 1:30pm
• Return to Westways
• Children to be collected from Mona Hall at

3:15pm

• Please let teachers know of any other

arrangements eg WASC, walking home, going home with another adult.

Accommodation

• Dearne Valley has dormitory

style accommodation.

• Rooms range from 4 to 16

bed dormitories, some en- suite.

• Party leader rooms close by.

Catering

• Three freshly prepared, healthy, buffet style

meals each day.

• Plenty of variety available - including hot and

cold meals.

• Salad bar, at least one vegetarian option and

plenty of water available at all times.

• Dietary requirements catered for.

• Every Kingswood centre is inspected by British

• All activities have rapid access to first aid trained

staff and facilities.

• All staff, teachers and visitors wear identification

accompanied by Kingswood instructors.

• Secure and clearly defined boundaries on site.
