• Total Credits for Graduation is 24 Credits
• 4 English Credits: English 1, English 2, English 3, English 4
• 4 Math Credits: Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, 4th Math of AFM or Precalculus
• 3 Science Credits: Earth/Environmental, Biology, Physical Science
• 4 Social Studies Credits: World History, Civics & Economics, American

History 1 & 2

• Health & PE
• 8 Elective Credits

High School Promotion Standards

To be promoted:

• 6 Credits for 10th Grade
• 12 Credits for 11th Grade
• 18 Credits for 12th Grade

• Advanced Placement (AP)

Rising 9th Grade Open House in the Auditorium & AP Information Night in the Media Center will be Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6:00-7:30pm

Honors & AP Courses

• High Levels of Work Ethic & Motivation
• Large amounts of outside reading & writing
• Takes College AP exams
• May be eligible to earn college credit
• Students should earn A’s or B’s in regular courses

University Admission Requirements

• Higher Maths - above Math 3
• World - 2 years of SAME language
• Cumulative Weighted GPA of 2.5 for all NC state universities
