Audi is much more than just a car - it is a thought turned reality, beauty in motion, the future brought one step closer. It is inspired by Vorsprung and in return inspires. It is this that we wished to bring to life in our idea for an Audi event. We would like to give top Audi drivers a truly exclusive Audi experience. And also give them the opportunity to experience more tangibly Audi’s

• beauty. The beauty that inspires. In doing this, we have created an

event that takes place within an art gallery, filled with art that echoes the beauty of Audi. We will also use this opportunity to showcase the beauty of Audi vehicles themselves - to entrench the fact that an Audi is a piece of art. To create cohesion between the Audi brand and the event we have named the event Angespont durch Kunst. Inspired by Art.

The invitation to the evening will be ensconced in a beautiful silver tube that will be engraved with the Audi logo and the words Angespont durch Kunst. Once opened, the invite will be revealed as well as a blueprint /artists rendition of an Audi. The invite will contain all the details of the event as well as a beautifully written creative reasoning.

The art gallery at which we propose to hold the event is situated in Johannesburg and contains ample parking for guests as well has space for us to park Audis outside. The inside of the gallery is white and clean, which gives us the opportunity to dress it in the way we see fit.

In a very sophisticated setting, guests will be able to view works of art by South African artists who epitomise Vorsprung, as well plinths which contain pieces featuring Audi. Champagne and sophisticated finger foods will be served by waiters.

On leaving the event, each couple will receive a second metal tube which will hold a thank-you for attending letter, as well a reproduction poster of one of the pieces of art on display.
