  1. CPA / Endwall activities Overview • RU Endwall up on Feb 23 • Ground plane fjller on CPA installation in week of Mar 5 • Bumper installation week of Mar 5 • Small beamplug endwall QA • Electrical connection and integration of CPA system including QA

  2. Ground plane fjller installation 50.8cm 53.3cm 54.7cm 108.8cm 228.7cm 229.8cm

  3. Ground plane fjller installation • Some issues, fjrst installation: • No planarity between the groundplanes of FC and the fjller pieces • Solved by bending with clamps on a table the fjller pieces into place (thank you Manrico)

  4. Ground plane fjller installation

  5. Bumper Installation for Dan • A bumper was installed to the CPA (US and DS) to avoid the Endwall touching the CPA. • Bumper material: G10 used epoxy to attach it to CPA , taped to keep in place while epoxy is drying

  6. Bumper Installation: Status  Removed the tapes for fixing the bumper position  Epoxied the front surface of the bumper  The clean profile is in position

  7. Beamplug Endwall QA Electronic circuit of the full beamplug endwall Points to Expected value measure (Mohm) FC1 to beam plug ∼56 Gohm FC1 to FC 58 ∼8 Gohm

  8. CPA integration and QA • QA tests for CPA #1 & #2 had been done • QA test for CPA #3 → Resistances at check points are well agree with the expected values • CPA #1, #2, #3 will be connected tomorrow morning after they are in place. Heng-Ye and I will do some QA measurements of the fully integrated CPA system

  12. View of position of bumper on Endwall for location verifjcation Please confjrm there is nothing mounted on the EW at this height. The bumper can be mounted up o 10cm higher if necessary.
