  • Increased production of electric cars from 9% in 2020 to 27% in 2030
  • Increase the electrical vehicle market by 50% to increase worldwide competitiveness
  • Creation of higher safety through more active safety systems

Health challenges: Healthy EU citizens! Energy & Environment challenges: EU Green Deal!

  • Changed ratio between combustion and electrified cars, forecasted in a ration 1:1 by 2030
  • Energy efficiency benchmarked targets reach the 90% threshold
  • Reduction of fuel consumption in electro-mobility products of 50% by 2030

ECSEL’s projects also help addressing European societal challenges such as transport, health and energy/environmental challenges

  • Establishment of open pilot line for micro-fabricated medical devices
  • Acceleration of the scale up of medical technology from concept to manufacturing
  • Development of innovative products to improve the diagnosis of high impact health

conditions There are several examples of how ECSEL’s projects contribute to wider EU societal objectives…
