Year-over-Year Performance Highlights

Airfare booked compared to previous year:

  • 2014 air volume was $43M – increase of 20%
  • 90,000 air tickets booked through system – increase of 29%

 Average of 342 trips booked each business day

  • UC airfare consistently lower than higher education benchmarks – value of UC rates

Annual savings (air, hotel, car rentals, online bookings):

  • 2013 = $10.6M saved (15% increase over 2012)
  • 2012 = $8.7M saved (34% increase over 2011)
  • 2011 = $6.5M saved (22% increase over 2010 when $4.5M was saved)

Customer Service Satisfaction:

  • Annual survey sent to over 10K and had a response rate of 40%

 Satisfaction with program rated at 85% (excellent or good)

Systemwide adoption of Connexxus:

  • Campus usage now at 48% – 20% over 2013
