What do you like best about the Snoqualmie Valley Transportation Coalition?

  • That it brings together partners from other local organizations, the interplay

between all the representatives focused on the topics and the opportunity to hear from the wide array of stakeholders in the region.

  • The participation of people: elected officials, planners, transportation providers,

persons with disabilities, and seniors.

  • Eagerness in soliciting ideas/feedback from all of the participants.
  • Opportunity to hear transportation updates and provide input regarding future

endeavors.

  • Goal oriented focus.
  • Getting a transit plan together.
  • Learning about transportation resources in the Snoqualmie Valley/ Networking

with other organizations in the Valley

  • Bring in groups or affiliations we have not had contact with yet.
  • More input from Hospitals/clinics/school districts.
  • Work on a specific project not just the Plan.
  • I would like to see more group breakout time.
  • Different day of the week for meetings, Friday’s are busy.

What do you see as the single most important issue for Snoqualmie Valley Transportation Coalition to focus on in the coming year?

  • Beginning to implement the 5 year transportation plan, with actionable items to

accomplish.

  • Funding to complete all existing plans. Also, a shareable plan as to how we might

move forward if funding is decreased.

  • Community knowledge of all mobility options in Snoqualmie Valley.
  • Increase frequency of the Valley Shuttle and build connection to Eastside towns.
  • Getting the elderly and students to a park and ride where they have access to more

transportation.

  • Reaching out to rural valley residents
  • Burn out and focus loss and staying focused for the year.
