2013

  • Found the reservoir is in need of rehabilitation
  • The 2013 Reservoir Assessment Report will be available
  • n the 8th floor of City Hall for review per request

Scope of Work

  • Provide dry inspection and develop assessment report (30%)
  • Develop 60%, 90% and 100% design and associated construction

specifications based on the dry inspection and assessment results

  • Provide Engineer Opinion of Cost at 30%, 60%, 90% and 100%

stage

  • Identify all utility locations both vertically and horizontally within

the proposed facility

  • Attend project related design progress meetings

Project Scope of Work Should Include:

  • Draft MOPOs ( Method of Planned Operation) for reservoir shut-

downs/isolation and attend City shut-down operational meetings;

  • Actively coordinate and communicate with contractors and City staff for all

reservoir related activities, recognizing that other projects and/or O&M work are ongoing at the same site ;

  • Provide pre-construction services, as required by the City, including but

not limited to developing bid schedule, attending pre-bid and bid-opening meetings, issuing addendum and reviewing bids;

  • Provide services, as needed, for land survey, reservoir vertical elevation

survey, construction, easements, drainage, site geotechnical stability analysis, asbestos test ( if applicable) and water quality improvement analysis;

Project Scope of Work Should Include:

  • Coordinate with City of Scottsdale to obtain all applicable

building/civil construction permits prior to reservoir construction;

  • Coordinate with Arizona Department of Water Resource (ADWR)

to obtain all applicable construction permits prior to reservoir construction (Note: This is an ADWR Jurisdictional Dam);

  • Construction administration & inspection services during the

construction phase at the discretion of the City; and

  • Assistance with the City on public outreach effort as needed.

Project Scope of Work Should Include:

  • Maximum of 12 pages
  • SOQs are Due on Friday October 21, 2016 at noon
  • Paper size shall be 8 ½ “ x 11”
  • Each side of a page that contains evaluation criteria and

content

Exceptions to the Maximum Page Limit

Please be advised the following will be grounds for disqualification, and will be strictly enforced:

  • Receipt of submittal after the specified cut-off date

and time

  • Too few copies of the submittal
  • Deposit of submittal in the wrong location
  • Violation of the “Contact with City Employees”

policy contained in the RFQ
