The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) and the Ontario Physician Human Resources Data Centre (OPHRDC) each produce a yearly report on physicians practicing in Ontario. These reports are titled Physicians in Canada (PIC) for CIHI and Physicians in Ontario (PIO) for OPHRDC. There are numerical differences between the two reports which the two organisations wish to make public to enable users of the data to better interpret the data. In future, this comparison report will be made available annually by OPHRDC and CIHI.
