Volunteering

We currently have 902 volunteers within SaTH We also have a further 100 Young Volunteers We have recently transferred our volunteer management system to the Membership Engagement Service. Public involvement champions will also be able to be registered on this system. We have recently re-branded our Trust volunteering ‘brand’. This includes new uniforms, which is are more visible to highlight their unique identity as volunteers

The White Garden – 5 July 2018

Work has started on the White Garden, which is due to open be officially open as part of our NHS70 celebrations

A white butterfly has been created by the British Ironwork Centre for the garden. These will also be available to purchase, with all proceeds going to the SaTH Charity. The development of the White Garden is supported by local businesses such as the British Ironwork Centre, who are supplying a white pergola.

Support for Bereavement in Maternity Services

Tree Planting at PRH

In conjunction with The Shropshire Wildlife Trust we held a tree planting day at PRH. Young people from The Crossbar Foundation and staff from Denso volunteer on the day to plant 200 trees.
