Mount Zion Mount Zion Intensive Care Unit (ICU) designated as Ebola Isolation Unit if necessary  If a patient with suspected Ebola arrives at UCSF, the patient will be treated in the isolation unit at Mount Zion by trained providers.  All other patients in the ICU will be relocated.  Plans are in place for safe laboratory testing and waste management.  Access to the unit will be tightly restricted and monitored. 11 CAG Meeting December 3, 2014 12/3/2014

Workforce Development Update EXCEL Program  Cycle 7 Update • 18 participants completing internships in December 2014 ‒ 7 from Bayview/Hunter’s Point and Visitacion Valley ‒ 3 offered career positions (2 UCSF / 1 External) ‒ 4 will be extended into temp positions with their host departments ‒ 11 will enter UCSF’s temp pool ‒ Graduation on December 18 th @ Genenetech Hall  Cycle 8 Update • 18 participants in classroom training ‒ 9 from Bayview/Hunter’s Point and Visitacion Valley ‒ Begin internships in January 2015 16 12/3/2014
