Lessons Learned • Traceability is a new course for food company – Batch management of raw material is essential. • Buyer is the driving force – Big food companies have stronger driving force to ask their supply chain to do so, and make SMEs follow up easily. • “From farm to Table” is a big challenge – Begin from retailers (e.g. supermarket, wholesale, restaurant), combined with agriculture product side to establish a integrated system. • Turnkey for SMEs’ Food Traceability • Potential Market for consulting company is big – The increasing demand for food traceability results in the consulting and ICT industry's investment in it and bring up business opportunities. 12
