FURTHER HOLISTIC AND PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS FOR RESTORING THE CREEK
Even though is Creek is cleaned of weeds, regular maintenance is needed: ❖Each type of weeds has different behavioral / growth patterns which need to be acted

❖Weeds regenerate from settled and entangled seeds, fragments, shoots, bulbs. Water Hyacinth is an invasive weed and grows at an alarming rate within a week’s time. ❖A maintenance cycle of 4 to 5 years is needed to eliminate these weeds as much as possible. ❖De-silting, only if needed, to a certain depth without disturbing the original water body bed -To clear the bed of accumulated silt and contaminants. This will increase the storage capacity of water during rains, recharge the ground water and prevent runoffs. ❖Use of Multi-Microbial Solutions- To treat the polluted water and enhance the quality and clarity of water. ❖Foresee nature to repair and restore through flushing, increase oxygen, growth of fishes.
