Allows government, individuals, and potentially private

employers to sit at the bargaining table to negotiate drug prices.

Funding application announcement requesting FY 19-20

budgets were sent out April 19th.

MCAH and BIH Title V and BIH GF allocations were the same as FY

2018-19

Title XIX Funding – LHDs could request any amount as long as they

had matching funds and justification.

LHD submission deadline was on May 15th.

The application period for CalCRG closed May 16, 2019
235 applications, totaling over $84 million in requests ($9.6

million is available)

Awards are expected to be announced sometime in June or

July

Awardees will have from August 1, 2019 through July 31, 2021

to expend funds

The next cycle of CalCRG grants are expected to be

announced in early 2020
