Careers in Education ST3-Students Today, Teachers Tomorrow • Created partnerships with HR and PLU • Programs at all three high schools • Two visits to PLU (Summer & Fall) • Tacoma Dome Job Fair • Spring Practicum at nearby elementary or middle schools • 17 students passed the ParaPro Exam - 3 perfect scores • Guaranteed interview with Bethel SD (complete college ed. program)

Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones) • Offered at Spanaway Lake • 38 students in two periods first semester • 50 students in two periods second semester • Equipment • Drone Pilot License FAA Part 107 • New Name for 2019-20 - Drone Piloting (UAS)

Changes in Biomedical • Students may now take the Biomedical sequence to meet their high school science requirements • New teachers hired at all three high schools • 3rd trimester gap classes • Increased enrollments
