HOA Sponsored Events

  • The annual Canterbury Hayride held December 2019, was once again a huge success with

close to 300 hay wagon riders. The weather cooperated and more people came out to enjoy the wagon rides through the neighborhood, visiting with Santa, the warmth of the fire pits, hot cocoa and cider, and goodies brought by neighbors.

  • The two Dumpster Days, held in June and September 2020, each had over 80 HOA

member households stopping by to drop off items. As a result of some feedback from the June event the Board added a shredding truck to the September Dumpster Day so HOA members could drop off materials that needed to be destroyed.

  • HOA Garage Sale, originally scheduled for June was held in August 2020 with many

neighborhood homeowners choosing to participate.

  • The following events were canceled as a result of Covid-19 restrictions and county public

gathering requirements: Easter Egg Hunt (April) Evening in the Park (June) Movie Night in the Park (July) Concert in the Park (August)

  • The Fall Halloween Festival planned for late October will now be a contest for the best

decorated Canterbury home and the best carved pumpkin each with a reward for the selected winner.

  • The December 2020 Hayride is still tentatively planned for December 6th, the Board is

monitoring Covide-19 guidance closely and will decide in November as to whether the event will be held or will need to be canceled.

distributed by Canterbury HOA Email blast on Monday of the week that a Food Truck is scheduled.

  • Click on the food truck link, order food, pay then you get a time that

your food will be ready. Food is not ready early.

  • If there is a problem with a link, go to the truck & they will direct you.
  • Ordering begins when service begins at 5:00-7:30pm; many order early

so think about ordering late! However, you can't order until the truck turns the ordering system on.
