CAMBIO: a four‐year, $1.5 million, research capacity enhancing program funded by a Teasdale‐Corti grant from the International Development Research Centre, on behalf of Global Health Research Initiative.

CAMBIO’s Purpose: to develop an international, multi‐ disciplinary team of researchers with the combined expertise required to address the complex nature of obesity in Mexico within the context of the nutrition transition.

CAMBIO Inputs ‐ Four Key Areas i. Development and Delivery of Annual Obesity Short‐Course ii. Development of a Collaborative Program of Research iii. Student and Faculty Exchanges iv. Building Partnerships and Networking

Goal: The long‐term goal of CAMBIO is to increase research capacity in Mexico in the field of childhood obesity, within the context of the nutrition transition.
