What is WordPress? The difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org?

Wordpress is a very powerful content management

• system. WordPress is a way of getting information up on

the web. It was fjrst set up for bloggers and is now used to build websites large and small. It is the largest self-hosted website building tool in the world. Wordprss.com and Wordpress.org is a open source software. Wordpress.org software can be uploaded to the web site server, this means you have total control of every element of the site.

When you have a hosting package (shared hosting server - cloud) you can then upload wordpress.org software to your hosting server to build the website.
