9 analog TV transmitters were received from Poland : 5 were set, 3 are preparing for installation, 1 is on standby. 15 transmitters were received from Lithuania : 9 were set, 2 are preparing for installation , 3 are on standby, 1 is in repair. 3 FM transmitters were received from the United States , which are planned to be placed in ATO area. Cost of the received equipment is approximately 10 million UAH.

In Artemivsk a power of transmitters for «the First National», «Studio 1+1» and «5 Kanal“ was increased by Donetsk branch of BRT. In Volnovakha television transmitters for «5 Kanal», «Studio 1+1», «Ukraina», the First National were installed and put into operation. In Kramatorsk a temporary tower
broadcasting of 13 television and 5 radio programs was restored by Donetsk branch of BRT.

In Starobilsk a transmitter to broadcast programs of Luhansk RSTRC on 49th channel was installed. In Shyrokiy a television transmitter to broadcast programs of Luhansk RSTPC on 25th channel was installed . In Popasna Luhansk region an analog transmitter for broadcasting of LuhTRC programs on 43th channel was installed .

In general 21 analog TV transmitters and 16 radio transmitters were placed into service in ATO zone.
The regional state TV was put into operation in 10 settlements: Donetsk TRC in 7 and Luhansk TRC in 3. The channel «IRTA» has been activated in 6 localities. Three private channels («5 Kanal», «1 + 1», «Ukraine») and two public (the First National and Donetsk TRC) were aired in Volnovakha. 21 analog television transmitters and 16 FM-transmitters were set.
180 sets of satellite antennas with Ukrainian broadcasting packages for the soldiers on the front line in ATO zone were installed under guidance of Oleksandr Brygynets. The fjrst six sets of satellite TV with installed Ukrainian package were received by military of 24 “Zalizna Brugada” (“Iron Brigade”). Organizers and initiators of this purchase were: MIP, MoD, BRT Concern, the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine and volunteer
General amount of sets that were installed: in Sector A – 45, Sector B and C – 80, Sector M – 55.
According to the allocated funding by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, BRT Concern provides purchases of antenna-feeder systems with the aim to install television transmitters. Restoration of 180 m high tower on Karachun. The Shymonovskyi Institute made the
tower building is March-May 2016 (depending on weather conditions). MIP lawyers together with BRT Concern are developing a new resolution on the allocation of funds for restoration and expansion of the national broadcasting system throughout all border territories, which have submitted their applications and for installation of two new towers. In the near future we are expecting the installation and the launch of radio broadcasting
transmitters received from the US. We are expecting to receive new transmitters from Latvia, the USA and other partners.
MIP of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine and BRT Concern, also to private channels: 1 + 1, IRTA, 5 Kanal which at their own funds purchased antenna-feeder path.
