Welcome

Thanks for choosing to stay at Blueberry Apartments. We are so glad you have decided to book with us, and we want to make sure you have a great relaxed stay. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, as well as loads of attractions to see whilst you are in Port Macquarie. You will find a list of favourite restaurants on page 3, plus details about

  • ur property in this manual.

Whatever you’re here for we can cater for most events you have come to the right place. It is a leisurely 10-minute walk to either the Marina or the Westport Club and a 3-minute drive to the Town Centre. We form part of the Aston Hill Motor Lodge where you can draw on the motel’s services from tourist brochures maintained in the motel’s reception foyer, $5.00 continental breakfasts and BBQ facilities on the 1st floor terrace.

House Rules

We have a few rules which I’d like to let you know about. I know rules are boring, but we’d really appreciate if you could have a quick read. #1 – If you’re eating in please Clean Up Dishes

  • If you use any dishes during your stay, we would be grateful if you

would rinse them clean. This would be of great help as it becomes extremely difficult to wash them after the food sets on the plate or utensil surface. #2 - Number of Guests

  • Ensure total guests matches that on your booking. If you have more

Blueberry Apartments

Both the Apartments and the Motel adjoin the park with a pathway access. guests than what you have booked for, you will not be covered under Airbnb Insurance. This is bad for everyone! #3 - Check Out is 10am

  • Our housekeepers arrive shortly after 10am to clean the property.

We can’t stop this process unless you give us prior notice. #4 - Lights & Heating

  • We would really appreciate it if you could turn off all lights and

heating when you leave the apartment each day, and on check out.

Entry

The key can be collected at the motel reception adjoining the apartments.

Lock Box

We offer a lock box entry outside reception hours being before 7.30am and after 9.00pm seven days. If you use this facility, we highly recommend keeping the key locked inside the lockbox during your stay, so you don’t accidentally lock yourself out or misplace the key.

Parking

Within our apartments there are four security undercover car parks. If there is any additional cars to the unit, still plenty of room on the adjoining parkland. There are no parking restrictions if you park on the fringe of the park, it’s quite safe being in a quiet residential neighbourhood.

Internet

Free Wi-Fi and Ethernet is included in your stay. The modem is visible in each unit.

Kitchen

Full kitchens in Apartments One and four, kitchenettes in Apartments five and six. Each apartment has cooking utensils and equipment that you are free to use, but we would greatly appreciate it if you could rinse them after

  • use. There are also condiments of tea, coffee, tea, wrapped biscuits and

fresh milk from motel reception.

Laundry

Apartments 1. & 4. Have laundries whereby Apartments 5 & 6 have access to the guest laundry at the motel.

Amenities

You will find an iron and board in each apartment. There is a hair dryer located in the bathroom, as well shampoo, body wash and liquid soap in dispensers on the wall. We provide towels, face washers, hand towels and bathmats to the allotted sleeping spaces within the unit. Linen, firm and soft pillows with blankets in the cupboard when needed. All apartments have reverse cycle air conditioning and Apartment 6 has a gas log fire. If you require anything else, please ask.

Restaurant Recommendations

There are some lovely restaurants nearby which we recommend you check out. Below are restaurants we receive good reports from our regular guests. Drive 02 6583 2334. Port Macquarie’s original seafood restaurant. Right on the Hastings River. You can feed the fish and pelicans. 12.00pm to 10.30pm every day. (2.9km 5 minutes by car)

Fitness (4-minute walk)

since 1993. If you want to keep fit while in town, this is ideal only a check out City Gym which is less than 1km away.
