Tour basics Getting there We will depart from Manchester Airport by plane on 19/2/18 at 9:00 am and will arrive Barcelona at 13:30. Please drop your child off at Terminal 1 Departures at 06:40 am. Returning home We will leave Barcelona at 13:30 on 22/2/18 and arrive home at 15:10 Please collect your child at Manchester Airport Terminal 1 Arrivals at 15:40 pm.

Luggage Allowance

• Jet2.com:
• Hand Luggage: One piece not exceeding 10 kg

and no bigger than 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm including the handle, pockets and wheels and

• ne small item such as a handbag, or airport

purchase, providing such item can be stored in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you

• Checked Luggage: One piece not exceeding 22

kg

Our accommodation: Barcelona Urbany Hostel Avenida Meridiana 97 Barcelona Spain 08026 Meals: Bed and Breakfast & Evening Meals are provided.

N.b Students will need some money for lunch each day.

• They are one hour ahead of GMT
• The currency in Barcelona is the Euro
• We recommend that students take enough to

buy lunches, drinks and snacks during the day Around 20 euros per day should be more than enough, but Parents can make the decision. Students can leave money in the safe in the hotel and only take what they need per day.

Tour basics Travel tips – packing The weather in Barcelona at this time of year is milder than in the UK (around 15⁰C/ 59⁰F), but it’s not beach weather! We will be doing a lot

• f walking too. As such, I recommend that

students pack the following essential items for their tour:

• Sensible and comfortable footwear
• A couple of warm jumpers or a light weight

• Comfortable and practical clothing for

excursions: leggings, jeans, track suit, t - shirts

What will we see & do? Day 1: Travel to destination; Tour the local area; get to the hotel and book in, do some shopping and enjoy an evening meal together. Day 2: A guided tour of La Sagrada Familia; Tour of Parc Guell; Evening meal; Magic Fountains Day 3: Guided tour of Camp Nou, Walk down the Ramblas and Markets; explore the Gothic Quarter and Dine at the Hard Rock Café Day 4: Breakfast, coach to airport and home!

We’re on our way! Don’t forget… Drop your child off at Manchester Airport Terminal 1 at 6:40 am on 19th February 2018. We will leave Barcelona at 13:30 on 22/2/18 and arrive home at 15:10 Please collect your child at Manchester Airport Terminal 1 Arrivals at 15:40. Don’t forget… Most students are travelling on a Collective Passport (Mrs Casey has it!) 1 student needs a separate document - Lyle Money (change your Euros in advance, it’s expensive at the airport) EHIC cards: I am still missing a number of EHIC cards .
