We will spend some time outdoors during the visit • To have one main bag and one day bag. During our journey to and from Berlin, students will need to keep items they may need (money/coat/food etc.) with them in their day bag as their main bag will be stored in the hold of the coach • To bring a towel and wash bag. 12. BERLIN 2019 INFORMATION EVENING Essential items: • Students will need to bring money with them for lunch, snacks and other items. As a guide, we would recommend budgeting for the Euro equivalent of £10 per day. Any money should also include a small amount in £s to purchase food on the ferries. All money will remain the responsibility of the students • Students will also need money for their Berlin transport tickets. • Utilising the group discount rate, students will need to place either €16 or €20 in an envelope clearly marked with their name & ‘Transport’ . The group rate is €4 per person per day & we need to use the S - & U-Bahn across 4 days of our visit. This is the cheapest way to purchase flexible, multi-use, travel tickets • These envelopes should be handed to a member of staff at the East Cowes ferry terminal on our day of departure
