  • Registration OPENS on November 5 (30+ credit

hours). All others Nov. 12th.

  • Drug screen and TB test earliest completion dates:

90-days before classes begin

  • Registration CLOSE dates at the end of business on:
  • Spring 2021 (January start date): January 15
  • Spring 2021 (March start date): March 5

Step 1: To access ECH’s services, call the location, identify yourself as a COD student and discuss what services are needed (Chart Review) Step 2: Bring all required documents to ECH for your Chart Review. YOU must be in attendance. Step 3: Once you receive the health clearance form from ECH, then you will upload the form to the online document manager.

Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

Occurs onsite at Accurate Biometrics facility Based on accurate information on your Healthcare Worker Background Check form Must be completed prior to the course. Arrangements will be made for our COD CNA Students. $39 money order, cashier’s check, or credit card in the student’s name (Not parents or spouse’s name)

Program Participation

  • Key things to remember

 You must attend all class sessions, including the mandatory

  • rientation.

 An average of 78% must be earned in three grading areas.  All IDPH required skills must be competently performed.  Any change in your health requires a doctor’s note to continue.

  • If it limits your ability to meet

the Essential Functions, you will need to withdraw from the class.
