Special Resolution � To provide continuity to the new board members, we are recommending that the list of Officers be expanded to include the Past Commodore � Most organizations have a similar board position, usually called Past Chair � The position would always be filled by the outgoing Commodore and it is expected that their role would be to pass on knowledge of procedures and policies to new board members. � To make this change, an amendment must be made to section 35 of the By-Laws
