1. Bangladesh is the second largest garments exporter after China. 2. Bangladesh has one of the longest sea beaches in the world which is Cox’s Bazar. 3. It has more than 700 rivers. 4. The Bay of Bengal is the largest bay in the world. 5. Three of the largest river flow through Bangladesh, those are the Ganges, the Meghna and the Brahmaputra. 6. Approximately 67% of land in Bangladesh is arable. 7. 3% of the world tea comes from Bangladesh. 8. Bangladesh typically sees over 60 inches of rainfall each year, with rainfalls heaviest during monsoon season

1. We do not eat with spoons and forks. We eat with our hands and we think by eating with hand you can enjoy the meal to the fullest. 2. The Bangladeshi people do not laugh much. That does not mean they are not

friendly. Excessive laughing considered a sign of immaturity.

3. The kids do not talk with older people keeping eyes on eyes. Because it is a way of showing respect to them. 4. We say ‘Assalamu Alaikum’ to any person we meet, it means may God shower His peace upon you. In reply we say ‘ Walaikum Assalam’ which means may God shower peace upon you too.
