- 66% said they would take some kind of civic action following the screening
- 77% of librarians reported that the films were effective in fostering a greater

How Libraries are Using POV Docs

- Brooklyn Public Library, Dekalb Branch – Screened All the Difference in January as
part of National Mentoring Month to inspire patrons to mentor young adults in the community.
- San Diego Public Library – Is hosting a screening and panel discussion of The
Return in partnership with local reentry org, San Diego Second Chance.
- Carroll County Library – Is screening The Return for inmates of the Carroll County
Jail, to engage a new group the library hasn’t reached out to in the past and give inmates the opportunity discuss current world issues.
- Brooklyn Public Library, Central Library – Screened Herman’s House in conjunction
with their exhibition of The House That Herman Built, including a life-size 6x9 ft solitary confinement cell replica.

- 1. Register: Join the POV Community Network at pov.org/engage.
- 2. Activate: Check your inbox for an activation link and temporary
password.
- 3. Request: Log-in to your account and click "Create an Event.”

event, then you just send it back afterwards.
