Armadillos can be found in South Carolina, but mostly in Texas. Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, lastly
- Florida. Armadillos can also
be found in Nebraska. Only 20 armadillos are found in Latin America.
The nine banded armadillos are solitary animals that do not share their burrows with other
- adults. They are mammals
because they are warm blooded creatures. Armadillos eat insects, including, beetles, grub, worms, ants, and other
- insects. Armadillos love insects.

Armadillos are carnivores because they can find what they need. Armadillos have plenty of predators. They are, coyotes, dogs, black bears, bobcats, cougars, lastly foxes. Armadillos have shells to protect its self.

Did you know that that an armadillos are not endangered? They are not extinct because there are plenty of more armadillos. To protect its self an armadillo balls up in to its shell so it will not get hurt. Over a 12 year period [1992-2003], we examined the impact.
