Demonstrate capability and power of ACADEMIC NETWORKING
- Test capability of HSN to work on long distances using
existing Internet connections (shared IP networks) as NRENs, GEANT, INTERNET2, SINET3, etc.
- Test capability to work on long distances using
E2E via NRENs, GLIF, etc.
What we wanted to achieve
Demonstrate utilization of high speed networking in advanced applications
In MEDICAL field it creates superior environment for:
- transfer of knowledge
- experience sharing
- exchange operational techniques, etc.
Focused on special applications: Movie industry, Virtual Reality (Cave), etc.
