  5. Auditions SING FIRST ● All students wanting to be in the chorus will need to sing in a group to determine your vocal accuracy. ● Students interested in lead roles will sing from the audition packet. DIALOGUE ● Based on your singing auditions, we will determine who we want to see read for lead roles. ● All students may read for parts with no vocal solos.

  6. Auditions, con’t CALL BACKS ● As the night progresses, we will ask for different combinations of students to read various parts. There may even be call backs during the week. RESULTS ● It will take me at least a week to make decisions and post results!

  7. WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW! ● Come prepared! Practice the lines and songs in the packet! ● Come with an open mind about what part you be cast. ● First and foremost, I am looking for the best talent for each part BUT your character does matter! ● Your work ethic, attitude, ability to take direction, attendance in past musicals, and grades are all things that are taken into consideration. ● EVERY role is important! There are no small parts, only small actors.
