  3. Our service We have successfully run 5 day provision across Berkshire through the year, with continuing referrals coming through. • Berkshire west – 289 workshops in the period Workshops: • East Berkshire – 149 workshops in the period • Berkshire west - 65 1:1 support: • East Berkshire - 16

  8. Key Highlights Moved offices! We introduced a compliance procedure for our policies and procedures to ensure these were appropriate, monitored and kept up to date. Article about the choir published in Journal of Dementia Care November/December 2017 An article on our sustainable model was included on the NHS England website.

Key Highlights Funding from The Big Lottery for two years CCG funding for full-time model in east of Berkshire from April 2017 Carer Support Group goes from strength to strength Continue to be supported by poweredbypie as charity of choice Articles have appeared in Newbury Weekly News about Sainsbury’s adopting us as their charity of the year and about charity challenges for 2018.

  10. Key Highlights Admiral Nurse for the east for one year, working one day a week, then got funds for an Admiral Nurse 3 days/week (hosted by Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust). Appeared on Radio Berkshire and South Today to promote the role of the Admiral Nurse

  11. Key Highlights Children’s book and education toolkit (play in May 2017)

  12. Key Highlights An Art Therapy Project was held with children of those with young onset dementia to assist them in coping with this diagnosis in a parent.

  13. Key Highlights A Marketing Consultant was retained to assist us in building a sustainable model for the future. Presented at conferences Participated in the BBC Holding Back the Years programme

  15. Our Volunteers We currently have 17 volunteers (including our Trustees) What do they do? They assist on our workshops, undertake administrative support within the office, run fundraising stalls and events. They do amazing things: help with workshops, fundraise, give their time!
